Former NFL linebacker Jamie Winborn has been reported missing in Atlanta, according to reports. He was last seen on Friday and his wife called police with concerns of his behavior. The ten-year veteran last played with the Tennessee Titans three years ago.

From WSMV Nashville:

"Officers removed several weapons and marijuana from the home. There are reports that Winborn has been battling cancer."

Winborn entered the league as a second-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers out of Vanderbilt. He won a Super Bowl with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after a brief tour with the Jacksonville Jaguars, before making stops with the Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons, Houston Texans and ultimately the Titans.

In 2004, Winborn was the recipient of the Ed Block Courage Award.

With Winborn missing and the news of his reported cancer, we wish him the best and hope that he returns home and is able to get the medical attention that he needs to battle the cancer and get back to full health.
