Milwaukee Bucks forward Larry Sanders came up with a cool concept for a tattoo. Get the word “ask” tattooed on one hand and the word “receive” on the other. I am assuming that it stems from the classic “ask and thou shalt receive” line.

The only problem with the Larry Sanders tattoo is that he “asked” for “receive” and instead he got “recieve.”

Apparently his tattoo artist was unfamiliar with the “i before e, except after c” rule.

Deadspin

for the find

He can join the ranks of Kevin Durant as NBA players that are the proud owners of misspelled tattoos.

Sanders seems to be handling it well as he was the subject of some trash talk in the comments on the Instagram account. He posted this photo of him holding his phone, probably reading the comments with a dismissive look on his face and the caption “Ummmmmmmmm…ain’t worried bout nuthin.”

Oh well, with advances in laser removal he can probably get that fixed.
