The New England Patriots wrapped up their preseason Thursday night with a 28-20 win. NFL rosters have to trim their rosters down to the final 53 players by Saturday evening. Polarizing quarterback Tim Tebow isn’t worried about whether he’ll make the roster or not.

“I’m blessed, because of my faith, that I don’t have to worry about the future because I know who holds my future,” Tebow told reporters. “It’s something I try to live by. It really gives you a lot of peace in whatever circumstance I’m in.”

Tebow isn’t changing his routine ahead of the roster cut deadline.

“Go to sleep when I get home, wake up, come work out, watch the film,” he said. “See what I did good, see what I did bad, try to learn from it and get better.”

“I think I’ve improved in a lot of ways,” Tebow said, via ESPN. “One, learning this offense. Two, understanding more decision making. Getting the rhythm, understanding all the guys that I’m playing with.”

Tim Tebow was 6 for 11 for 91 yards in the preseason finale with two touchdowns and an interception. He was sacked 4 times for 25 yards. He threw a 52 yard touchdown pass to free agent rookie wide receiver Quentin Sims after an incompletion that brought down a chorus of boos.

“He had the boo birds out the play before and then he comes back to throw the touchdown,” Mallett said. “It just shows what kind of player he is, his character.”

Quentin Sims and Tebow connected again for another touchdown later.

“All training camp, me and Tim have connected on that a few times,” Sims said. “Coach put a big emphasis on wanting to do that, so it was good we connected.”

It is worth noting that the Patriots were losing to the New York Giants 14-20, before Tim Tebow’s two touchdown passes gave them the win.
