The Houston Texans are are planning to use a Week 1 running back rotation against the San Diego Chargers on Monday night.

Head coach Gary Kubiak indicated that Arian Foster had an impressive week of practice as they prepared for the Chargers.

"“He looks really good. He’s come a long way. I’ve been impressed with his wind, his conditioning. It’ll be the first time he’s been hit, that’s just part of it, but he’s come a long way. He had some good work. He had a really good day today. Obviously, we’re going into the game with both he and Ben (Tate) ready to get after it. That’s the way we’ve got it orchestrated.” Gary Kubiak told the Houston Chronicle."

This year the Texans will look to grab a hold of the #1 seed in the AFC and hold onto it this time. With the Indianapolis Colts improving their roster and the Denver Broncos looking like they will be stronger this season, they will need everything clicking.

The offense needs to hold it together this season, they came out strong last year but slowly fell apart. So this opening game on Monday against San Diego should let us know what type of Texans offense we will see this season.
