The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have announced that Darrelle Revis is probable for the Bucs game Sunday verse the New York Jets.

Revis has been rehabbing an injury to his ACL that was suffered midway through last season as a member of the New York Jets. He has reportedly practiced without limitation this last week.

I am sure if there is one regular season game that Revis has circled on his calendar from a selfish standpoint, this would have to be it. Opening weekend and the chance to play his former team. I expect to get the best possible version of Revis island on Sunday as he locks down

Braylon Edwards, Plaxico Burress,

whomever the Jets are tabbing as their number one wide receiver that day. I only wish that they had someone to truly challenge Revis just to see how his injured knee holds up, although he might enjoy having a psuedo weekend off.

Pro Bowl offensive guard Carl Nicks will not be able to play due to an injured foot. Also tight end Tom Crabtree has been ruled out with an ankle injury.
