The New England Patriots released their updated injury report on Thursday evening and in a(n) (un)surprising twist, there were no changes to the statuses of wide receiver Danny Amendola and tight end Rob Gronkowski. On both Wednesday and Thursday, Gronkowski was listed as “limited” and his injury was “back/arm.” Amendola was also listed as limited both days for his “groin” injury.

Amendola, who injured his groin during the Patriots’ 23-21 comeback victory over the Buffalo Bills (a game in which Amendola had 10 receptions for 104 yards), got some good news Wednesday. Amendola won’t need sports hernia surgery and should be out “a few weeks.”

Tight end Zach Sudfeld, who was expected to help replace Gronkowski, missed last Thursday’s 13-10 victory over the New York Jets with a hamstring injury, had his participation listed as “full” on both Wednesday and Thursday.

Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston has the complete injury report for Sunday game which the Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers here.

The Patriots and Buccaneers will kick off at 1:00 pm EST.
