Right now Reggie Bush has as many carries (30) and almost as many rushing yards (115) this season as he did in his final season with the New Orleans Saints.

When Reggie went to Miami, he was their premiere guy and 2,072 rushing yards in two seasons with the Dolphins. He is exactly what the Detroit Lions needed. Now he left the game during the second quarter after a knee injury after rushing for 25 yards on nine carries and picked up 44 receiving yards off of three receptions.

Bush recently admitted in an interview that he hasn’t been cleared by Detroit’s team doctors to play yet and could be 50-50 to suit on on Sunday against the Washington Redskins.

"“I feel a lot better than I thought I was going to be feeling at this point. My knee feels pretty good. It’s a good day-to-day thing right now. Thankfully I avoided anything serious that might have required surgery or being out for a long period of time.” Reggie Bush told the Detroit Free Press."

With Bush being listed as probable for Sunday’s game, Joique Bell could be in line to get the start if Detroit feels the need to give Reggie a little time to rest up the knee instead of rushing his return. He’s going to be a big part of their offense, so they need to be smart about this.
