Week 4 of the NFL Season is here, and tonight has a playoff feel to it with a pair of teams squaring off while looking to avoid a third loss before the month of September ends.

The San Francisco 49ers will have All-Pro tight end Vernon Davis tonight against the St. Louis Rams. But they won’t have All-Pro  linebacker Patrick Willis. Both players are battling hamstring injuries of varying degrees.

The rest of 49ers’ inactives are cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, receiver Chris Harper, quarterback B.J. Daniels, receiver Marlon Moore, guard Joe Looney and fullback Owen Marecic.

The Rams’ inactives are running back Isaiah Pead, offensive tackle Rodger Saffold, defensive end William Hayes offensive lineman Barrett Jones, offensive lineman Brandon Washington, offensive tackle Mike Person and tight end Mike McNeill.

Pead is a curious inactive, and no reason was given for Pead’s status. He wasn’t not listed on the team’s injury report heading into the game. Rookie Zac Stacy is active for the first time this season and is expected to see his first career touches.
