What did Kobe Bryant say when asked about Dwight Howard’s decision?

It was only right that I used this picture for this article, but here we go.

Media day is going on for the Los Angeles Lakers today and of course Bryant was surrounded by reporters. Topics that were thrown at Bryant were his time-table, how his Achilles was doing and of course, what he thought about Dwight Howard’s decision.

Now when the Lakers traded for Howard last year I was pretty excited. We were supposed to have Chris Paul, but we all know what happened with that. It was a move that was going to happen sooner or later. The thing is, things didn’t really go according to plan.

The team struggled on both sides of the court and now Howard is getting ready to suit up with Jeremy Lin and James Harden for the Houston Rockets.

Today at Lakers Media day, someone asked Kobe what his “surprise” level was when Dwight Howard made his decision. Bryant’s response is pretty epic:

After a while, I don’t think many Lakers fans actually gave a…what Bryant said. Actually, I’m looking forward to those games against the Rockets. You can only imagine what the crowds reaction will be once Howard steps onto the court in the Staples Center wearing a Rockets uniform.

I have a feeling things may be thrown at him before and after the game.
