The Seattle Seahawks have seemingly knocked the San Francisco 49ers off the throne of the NFC West. The Seahawks are 4-0 including a 29-3 over the reigning NFC Champions, and 2-2, 49ers.

The 49ers aren’t worrying, at least according to offensive lineman Alex Boone.

“No, not at all. We know Seattle has to come into our house. The road through the playoffs will come through us, obviously,” Boone told KNBR-AM on Monday, via the team’s official website. “And we know they’re going to play some good teams, and we control our own destiny.”

The 49ers can’t say they’re atop the division and rest on their past two NFC Championship Game appearances and a Super Bowl appearance. They’ve fallen behind due to many things including injury problems.

The San Francisco 49ers are off to play St. Louis, in Missouri, this weekend. The Rams can’t be considered an easy opponent but the 49ers will be looking for a win. The following week the Houston Texans come to Candlestick Park.
