Tony Romo may soon be sending Matt Schaub a thank you card. While most of the late Sunday talk was focused on the late-game interception by the Dallas Cowboys quarterback that cost them a chance to drive down the field and hand the Denver Broncos their first loss of the night, Schaub upped the ante by throwing a record-breaking pick-six.

However, it is not the kind of NFL record that you want to have.

It was the fourth straight game that the Houston Texans quarterback threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown, so we could see some more Schaub jersey burning tonight.

It’s obviously not helpful when you are giving up free points to your opponent and it is a trend that the Texans need to reverse if they want to live up to the preseason Super Bowl talk that centered around this team.

Hopefully the Texans can now move forward now that Schaub has today’s pick-six out of his system or else he could soon be staring at the bench.
