Fans enraptured by quarterback controversies will be disappointed to hear that Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly is sticking with starter Michael Vick. After suffering a hamstring injury against the New York Giants on Sunday, Vick was replaced by backup Nick Foles. The second-year quarterback out of Arizona performed well, throwing for 197 yards and two scores, but Kelly announced after the win that Vick, if healthy, will get the starting nod next week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Vick, who will undergo an MRI on Monday, spoke about his injury situation after the game:

"It’s frustrating. I never question why things happen, I never question God. It’s a little sore. I’ve been standing up the last two hours. I need to get treatment. I’ve had this type of injury before (ESPN)."
