New York Giants running back David Wilson injured his neck this past weekend. Wilson attended Giants practice on Tuesday and was in uniform, but he wasn’t wearing a helmet and wasn’t participating.

Wilson injured his neck in Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, Wilson left the game and did not return.

The fact that he is at practice is a positive step, it means his injury isn’t more serious. It doesn’t indicate that he’ll be available for Thursday’s game. He was still experiencing tingling in his neck. The Giants also re-signed Da’Rel Scott to fill the void at running back in his absence. The only other option for the Giants, if Wilson can’t go, is Brandon Jacobs.

Other absentees from practice included Corey Webster, Jayron Hosley, Adrien Robinson, David Baas and Cooper Taylor.
