Chicago Bears tight end Martellus Bennett has been a huge part of this passing offense early on.

After winning the first three games of the season, the Chicago Bears have lost the last two games and are looking to bounce back against the New York Giants on Thursday. Bennett and Cutler have been on the same page as Cutler’s found him for nearly 300 yards and three touchdowns on 25 receptions.

Their biggest hook up was that game winning touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2. Bennett got his legs hit out from under him this past Sunday against the New Orleans Saints which caused him to land on the top of his head.

He got up slowly and made his way to the sidelines as he was in obvious pain. He’s battle minor problems this season but nothing that has kept him out of games. Bennett was still able to practice on Tuesday but was limited.

Charles “Peanut” Tillman has also been a key member of this Chicago Bears team and has also battled some injuries early on this season. Tillman was able to record a forced fumble against the Saints on Sunday, but it was recovered by the Saints.

Tillman missed some plays on Sunday and was replaced by Zach Bowman. Right now Tillman’s dealing with both a groin and knee injury.

Right now it may look like Bennett will start and Tillman should get a week off.
