Adrian Peterson says he will play on Sunday

There was some speculation about whether or not Minnesota Vikings star Adrian Peterson would play after the tragic situation surrounding his two-year-old son who is currently in critical condition after a severe beating by the boyfriend of the child’s mother, and Peterson addressed the media saying that he will indeed be playing on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

Expect a very emotional, but motivated, Adrian Peterson to take the field.

While he is set to play, the most important matter is still the health of his child. We continue to send our positive thoughts and prayers to Peterson and his entire family.
