After the Atlanta Braves reclaimed the division last season, they fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers in the divisional round.

Next season the Braves are aimed to reclaim the division once again but this time bring home the National League pennant. With the Upton brothers adding power on their roster and Dan Uggla set to be ready by Spring Training, this team should be a playoff favorite if they can manage to stay healthy.

They shut down 23 year old pitcher J.R. Graham back in May after suffering a right shoulder sprain. Graham did not return after he posted a 2.72 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 190/57 K/BB ratio through 241 1/3 innings of work in the minor leagues.

He’s a promising young prospect who should crack the major league rotation.

Brandon Beachy, who underwent Tommy John surgery back in June of 2012 should be set to rejoin the team by Spring Training. The 27 year old right handed pitcher can get his career back on track next season after posting a 3.07 ERA, 9.5 K/9 in 237 2/3 innings pitched through 41 starts between the 2010 and 2012 seasons.
