Andy Dalton stepping up his game after early slump
By Jason Marcum
His three TD passes were as many as he’d thrown in the previous four games, and was in the midst of a slump that had many calling for the Bengals to being searching for his replacement. The fact of the matter is that Dalton is that player who will go through down periods and make you think he’s average, only to break-out and have a performance like this past week.
Some call that inconsistency. Others call that being a game manager.
One thing is for sure, and that’s the fact that he Bengals will need these kinds of performances from Dalton is they want to win the AFC North and win a playoff game for the firs time in over two decades.
