One of the more intriguing match ups of the Chicago Bears and Washington Redskins game is the DeAngelo Hall vs. Jay Cutler story line. Several years ago, Hall picked Cutler off four times in one game, returning one for a touchdown. That four interceptions in a game mark is an NFL record, and Hall was just the third player to do it since 1970.

Ahead of this game Cutler could be having nightmares about this match up. If he is, he is playing it off in the media when asked about Hall.

“Another player, y’know,” Cutler said, via the Chicago Sun-Times.

Oddly, Hall agreed to a certain extent.

“I am just another guy, so,” Hall said. “It’s not me vs. Jay. It’s the Washington Redskins vs. the Chicago Bears, and they’re playing good football. We’re trying to get a win in our stadium, so, definitely looking forward to that.”

“I can’t go into it thinking, ‘This is Jay Cutler.’ But for me personally, I feel good about the matchup,” Hall said, via the Washington Post.

The Bears have changed a bit since that meeting. They’ve added some more weapons like wide receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery, and tight end Martellus Bennett.

They also have a new head coach in Marc Trestman.
