Last week against the Denver Broncos, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon had one of the best games of any pass catcher this season. Blackmon hauled in 14 catches for 190 yards, but his status for this weekend’s game against the San Diego Chargers is in doubt.

Blackmon, who is officially listed as questionable and missed the team’s Friday practice, is dealing with a hamstring issue.

However, following the practice session, Blackmon told reporters that there is “no doubt” he will be available for the team’s Week 7 match up.

Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union passed along the news.

What many expect took place is that Blackmon is in no real danger of missing the game and that the team decided to give him a break after shouldering such a heavy load just one week ago.

We will have to wait until Sunday to see if that is the case, but Blackmon’s confidence leads us to believe he will be available and you should feel comfortable placing him in your starting line up this week.
