Buffalo Bills quarterback Thad Lewis dropped back to pass when he was greeted by New Orleans Saints defender Cameron Jordan. Jordan knocked Lewis to the ground and caused him to fumble in the process.
Earlier this week Lewis said: “I’m feeling better than ever. I’m glad I have a week to get treatment, now another week, but I’m feeling better than ever.”
I doubt he is feeling that saw way now. Jordan also recovered the fumble giving the Saints excellent field position. They got the ball back at Buffalo’s 21 yard line. That set up a 15-yard touchdown pass from Drew Brees to Lance Moore three plays later. That was the Saints first score of the game after being held to two three-and-outs earlier in the first quarter.
