The Oakland Raiders sit at 3-4 on the season and are coming off a big win after their bye week against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Philadelphia looms this week, and Oakland sees this game as a pivotal moment in their season if they are going to make a playoff push.

"“If we’re going to do something, we need to start making some sort of move,” head coach Dennis  Allen said, according to CSN Bay Area’s Scott Bair. “The consistency with our football team is something I’ve talked about a lot, and that’s what we’ve got to develop. We need to go out and play well against Philadelphia.”"

After playing Philadelphia (3-5) in Oakland this week, the Raiders head to New York to take on the (2-6) Giants then to Houston to take on the (2-5) Texans.  After that, a return trip home to take on the (3-4) Tennessee Titans.

"“It’ll be a heck of a challenge for us, but if we’re ever going to become the team we think we can become, then we need to put some things together,” Allen continued. “I think our guys our ready. We’re excited about the opportunity, and we’re looking forward to it.”"

These are all winnable games for a Raiders team looking to get and stay in the playoff hunt.  A win against Philadelphia brings Oakland back to .500 and to a positive outlook; a loss and they are struggling to get back in the equation.
