Michigan State fan accidentally punches friend in face (GIF)

Players are expected to keep their emotions in check, while the job of the fans is to get excited and celebrate the big plays that are occurring on the field. During today’s rivalry match up between the Michigan State Spartans and Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State fans had plenty to be excited about.

The Spartans are absolutely dominating the Wolverines up front, which was reflected in the Wolverines -41 rushing yards in the first half.

At one point during the game, the fans decided to really get wild with their celebrations and it ended up poorly for one Michigan State fan. The fan and his Spartan buddy were flailing around like crazy after a big play by the Spartans, when one of the motions ended up connecting to the jaw of the other fan in one of the least impressive celebrations we have ever seen.
