The first week of November brings more Champions League action. The Group League play phase is half over, three games down, three games left starting with this week’s action. On Tuesday Groups A through D will play and on Wednesday Groups E through H will play.

On Tuesday the Manchester United game against Real Sociedad is getting the prime slot and visibility on Fox Sports 1. The day is highlighted by Real Madrid’s trip to Italy to play Juventus. Those are clearly the two biggest clubs squaring off on Tuesday. Madrid has a strangle hold on the group and Juventus hasn’t gotten a win in group play yet.

Wednesday’s games are better. In Group E Chelsea hosts Schalke in a battle for first place, both teams are tied with six points. In Group F there is a three way tie for first and two of those teams, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund square off. Last time these two met in London in Champions League play Dortmund beat Arsenal. The Gunners will be looking to return the favor. In Group H, Barcelona and AC Milan square off, both those clubs sit in the first and second slots of the group.
