Ever wonder who’s the person underneath the costume? Ever think about what it’s like to be a mascot? Well now there’s a chance to get to see everything behind the scenes. On Hulu, there’s a new series called “Behind the Mask.” The show is about the lives of four mascots, ranging from high school to semi-pro hockey, to college basketball, and the NBA.

One of the men behind the mask-ot is a shy high schooler, who is only popular and known around the school as the cool guy when he’s dressed as a cedar tree. On the college side of mascot-ing, the UNLV Rebels’ student is in his sixth year of school, but loves every moment of playing the role of Hey Reb. The whole school knows him, and he embraces the popularity.

Another mascot plays the role of Tux, of the Wilkes-Barre Penguins, the AHL affiliate of Pittsburgh. His dream is to make it to the pros, of mascot-ing. He wants to be a top NHL mascot, and would do anything to accomplish that goal.

Bango the Buck, is one of the biggest, if not the best NBA mascot out there today. He does crazy stunts, unapproved jumps, and much, much more. He loves everything about it, but knows there are risks with the job, as do his wife and kids. He’s determined to keep up his legacy, and do even crazier things this season.
