There’s good news Cowboys fans, despite Sean Lee’s injury, it is confirmed that it isn’t as bad as people first assumed.

The linebacker’s hamstring injury was originally thought by many to be a tear, when in fact, it has been announced that it is just a pull. A pulled hamstring isn’t as serious as a tore hamstring.

According to an article on ESPN,

"Lee said he’s had them before but hopes rehab will fix the problem and he can return sooner than expected.“I’ve got to make sure I rehab properly and hope I can be back as soon as I can, when I can functionally get back,” Lee said after Tuesday afternoon meetings. “It’s frustrating. I want to be on the field. Obviously, I’ve had trouble staying on the field. I take a lot of pride in rehabbing and making sure I recover and am ready to go. But it’s just one of those deals I’ve got to battle back from.”"

The timetable for a pulled hamstring is typically shorter than that of a torn one, however, everyone heals and recovers at different paces. It may be hard to give an exact estimate as to when Lee will be back, but it’s safe to assume it will be as soon as he possibly can.
