The Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans both limp into this game following embarrassing losses. The Colts were blown out at home by the St. Louis Rams and rookie wide receiver Tavon Austin who had three touchdowns of over 50 yards in the game. The Titans loss to the previously winless Jacksonville Jaguars. What really is embarrassing there, is that the Titans essentially gave the Jaguars their final 9 points to win the game with a safety and a fumble return for a touchdown.

“I think all we want is to never play like that again,” Colts tight end Coby Fleener said, via ESPN. “The feeling after that game was just disgust.”

“Certainly we’re not going to bury our head in the sand on this past ball game,” Colts coach Chuck Pagano said. “We’ll address the issues like we always address them. We know there are things that need to be fixed and we’ll go to work on fixing those things.”

Titans tight end Delanie Walker shared Fleener’s feelings about his team’s loss.

“It’s disgusting. I’m disappointed. I’m embarrassed,” tight end Delanie Walker said after the game, via TitanInsider. “A team that’s 0-8 comes in here and beats us? Beats us on our home field — that’s 0-8, the Jaguars? Come on.”

Walker doesn’t want to talk about the implications this game has on the AFC South title race.

“Talking about first place? Talking about first place? We just got whooped by the Jaguars,” he said. “We ain’t talking first place no more. It’s out the window. We’ve got to come back and play the Colts. I don’t know how everybody’s gonna handle it. I mean, we lost to the Jaguars.”
