According to the Denver Post’s Mike Klis, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning did not practice with the Denver Broncos on Wednesday. On Sunday, Manning took a low hit for San Diego Chargers defensive end Corey Liguet.

He didn’t leave the game and is expected to play on Sunday. One source said that Peyton “absolutely will play Sunday against Chiefs.” Manning underwent an MRI on Monday

This is most likely to give Manning an extra day of rest. Manning should return to practice on Thursday and Friday. The game on Sunday is a big match up against the undefeated divisional rivals Kansas City Chiefs. A win moves Broncos into first place in the division with a head-to-head tie breaker win.
