Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson has been ruled out for this Sunday’s game against the New York Jets, according to Mike Rodak of ESPN. Rodak also noted that Stevie Johnson was absent from practice on Friday. Johnson has been battling a groin injury.

This doesn’t come as too big of a shock. Johnson missed practice on Wednesday and Thursday as well. Head coach Doug Marrone was quoted as saying that he “doesn’t feel good” about Johnson playing this weekend. Now it is official.

“Obviously Stevie has missed two days and I don’t feel good about him being able to play,” Marrone said Thursday, via the team’s website. “But I can’t officially rule him out yet.”

Johnson is most likely frustrated with missing a divisional game. After their loss this past weekend Johnson expressed his frustration with the Bills’ woes.

“I’m just frustrated,” Johnson told the team’s official website after the game. “I’m not discouraged by anybody on the team. It is a loss. It’s very frustrating.

“My frustration level is a 10,” Johnson said. “When you’re losing games, nobody should be happy.”
