The Hamilton Tiger-Cats defeated the Toronto Argonauts in the Eastern Final to reach the Grey Cup Championship for the first time since 1999. The Tiger-Cats got a big performance from quarterback Henry Burris who completed 27 of 40 passes for 371 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Andy Fanutz had a two of those touchdown receptions and 114 yards receiving on 11 receptions.

The highlight of the game might have been a Hamilton fan trolling Toronto mayor Rob Ford. The mayor has made news lately with his admission to smoking crack when drinking too much. He has refused to step down from office and said he will serve out his term. The league’s commissioner asked Ford, who is obviously an Argonauts fan, to stay away. He showed up in the second half. The Hamilton fan trolling Ford was sitting near him with a sign that read “our mayor is better than yours.
