The New England Patriots travel south to take on the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football. The Panthers have been one of the most surprising teams of the year this season, 6-3 they’re in the running for a Wild Card berth.

“Monday Night Football is always pretty cool, especially when you play a really good team on Monday Night Football,” Patriots quarterback Tom Brady said. “It’s a fun night.”

Brady is 13-4 on Monday Night Football, but he knows getting win number 14 won’t be easy.

“They’re one of the best defenses in the league,” Brady said. “We have to play really well. I think our execution has to be at its best.”

The Panthers were quick to pay back the compliment.

“Tom Brady is a very cerebral guy, he’s been around a while, he knows where he’s going with the ball, he’s smart, he understands defenses,” Panthers line backer Luke Kuechly said. “So we’ve just got to do a good job of playing our job, doing our responsibilities and make sure we’re in the right spot.”
