The Denver Broncos were able to hand the division rival Kansas City Chiefs their first loss of the season on Sunday night due in large part to keeping quarterback Peyton Manning standing upright, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t still a little banged up.

Manning has been dealing with high ankle sprains in both of his past ankles for the past few weeks and he was given an opportunity to rest up on Wednesday by sitting out of the team’s practice.

While Manning may not have suited up for the Broncos practice session, the team’s fans and fantasy owners should not be too concerned.

Manning has had the past few Wednesday’s off as he attempts to get healthy after spending too much time this season on his back, so having Wednesday off this week again is nothing new.

If you are concerned about his availability for this week’s upcoming game against the New England Patriots in prime time, he should be able to suit up and play like he has been doing all season long.
