Indianapolis Colts owner and extremely active twitter user, Jim Irsay and his wife, Mary, are divorcing after 33 years of marriage.  The last decade the two have lived apart.  Irsay is maintaining 100% control of the Colts franchise and this divorce will have no impact on who is in charge of the team.

They released the following to the press:

"“After 33 years, we have mutually agreed to end our marriage,” the Irsays said in the release. “Meg will continue to pursue her professional interests and her commitment to our children and grandchildren, while Jim will maintain 100 percent ownership of the Indianapolis Colts and his other business interests. Although the decision to end our marriage is a difficult one, it is the right decision for us and our family. We appreciate your respect for, and understanding of, our privacy.”"

The Colts, who are 7-3 and lead the AFC South are preparing to go on the road to take on the Arizona Cardinals this week as they contend for a first round bye in the playoffs.
