When NBA superstar decided to leave his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers for the Miami Heat, the city felt betrayed. Fans took to the streets to protest and burn their jerseys. Since, James has been to three straight NBA Finals and won two rings.

He is slated to be a free agent soon, he could be a free agent this summer. He has player options for the next two seasons. Some Cavaliers fans are hoping that he might consider coming back home to the Cavaliers.

Some fans have launched a “Come Home LeBron” campaign, , according to the Akron Beacon Journal. They’re putting together a rally for the Miami Heat’s trip to Cleveland on Wednesday.

Rally organizers are passing out 2,000 t-shirts to fans and who doesn’t love a free t-shirt. If you take a picture of the shirt and tweet @comehomeelebron, you’re entered into a drawing for 2014-15 Cavaliers season tickets.

“Our main goal is not to beg him to come back,” Josh Raggi said. “Our main focus is to let LeBron know we’re going to accept him coming back. We’re not the group of haters.

“We realize LeBron had a point. He didn’t have the supporting cast here he needed to win. We have a young and vibrant team. We have the supporting cast. I believe that it’s 50-50 he leaves Miami. But if he leaves Miami, we think he’s coming to Cleveland.”
