Just this past week, Denver Broncos head coach John Fox returned to the Denver Area to spend Thanksgiving following heart surgery that has kept him away from the team physically and put Jack Del Rio in charge. Once his return to Denver became public knowledge, the speculation began as to when he may resume his coaching duties.

According to Jay Glazer on this morning’s Fox pre-game show, he’ll be returning to the team this Monday after the holiday weekend, and he plans to coach the team next week in their game against the Titans:

This is great news as it seems his doctors have deemed him healthy enough to take this giant step. I would expect that, given the heart issue, Fox will more than likely be coaching from the booth, like Gary Kubiak has done with the Texans.

Still, great news to hear that Coach Fox is making some great progress and the team will no doubt be excited to have him back.
