Washington Redskins rookie tight end Jordan Reed is having himself an amazing season and is currently making a case for himself when it comes to Rookie of the Year.

In nine games the rookie has recorded 45 receptions and brought in nearly 500 yards with three touchdowns. His biggest game of the year came against my Chicago Bears, where he brought in nine receptions on nine targets for 134 receiving yards and one touchdown.

The Redskins look like they have a tight end they can move forward with after signing Fred Davis to just a one year contract earlier on in the year.

Now the Redskins are preparing themselves to go to battle with the New York Giants. They currently sit 3-8 in the division they won last season so they really need to pick up this win against the Giants at home.

Reed who is expected to play on Sunday, was limited during practice today but feels confident according to John Keim on Twitter.
