Dallas Cowboys 31, Oakland Raiders 24

Studs: The big scorers in this game were the running backs since all but one touchdown was on the ground. DeMarco Murray scored a trio of touchdowns while running for 63 yards and adding five catches for 39 yards. His counterpart, Rashad Jennings scored two touchdowns before leaving injured running for 35 yards and adding an eight-yard catch. The only receiving touchdown of the day went to Dez Bryant who finished with 61 yards on seven catches. Duds: The Raiders running back Darren McFadden did return but only had five rushes for 13 yards.  Tony Romo was efficient 23/32 with 225 yards but only had one touchdown.  Across the field, Matt McGloin didn’t play badly, but didn’t find the end zone and threw for 255 yadrs with an interception. Sleepers: Most of McGloin’s passing yards went to former Cowboy Andre Holmes who had seven catches on his team-high 11 targets for 136 yards. Holmes hasn’t shown signs of this huge game coming, and will be a high-risk option going forward, but it is worth noting his big game since there could be potential here going forward. For Dallas, Lance Dunbar looked impressive on his 12 carries running for 82 yards and giving Dallas a nice option as a change-of-pace back when Murray needs a break. The Cowboys need to commit to the running game, and Dunbar could get opportunities enough to make him a flex consideration. UPDATE: Ed Werder of ESPN is reporting that Dunbar’s knee could require season-ending surgery, so don’t act on him until the situation is cleared up.
