There is little doubt that Stevan Ridley is the most talented running back on the New England Patriots roster, but he has been fumble prone this season and consistently landed in Bill Belichick’s dog house.

Last week, Ridley nearly cost the Patriots the game against the Denver Broncos with his continued fumbling issues, but New England was able to overcome the turnovers to take down the Broncos in overtime.

Now, this week, Ridley could continue to pay for his mistakes.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Ridley is not expected to see much action this week if he is even active.

Schefter reported:

Brandon Bolden, LeGarrette Blount and Shane Vereen will likely play running back by committee, while Ridley watches from the sidelines.

It is just the latest setback for the former LSU star this season, but he has been able to bounce back before and he will once again need to show the Patriots coaching staff that he is reliable and regain their confidence.
