San Diego’s finest anchorman Ron Burgundy, played by comedian Will Ferrell, is promoting his upcoming movie Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues. He has made appearances on TSN in Canada calling the Canadian Olympic Curling trials, he has anchored a news show in Bismarck, North Dakota, and is now headed to Bristol to host ESPN.

The clip starts off with Burgundy expressing his surprise that Manning has been successful playing without a mustache. That leads Peyton to make a joke and take a stab at Eli Manning and his failed attempt to grow a mustache.

Burgundy awkwardly asks Manning about his relationship with the horse mascot Thunder.

It ends with Burgundy saying “you can have South Beach LeBron, Ron Burgundy is taking his talents to Bristol.”

Burgundy will be joined by San Diego sports guru Champ Kind, played by David Koechner. The duo will be on SportsCenter on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m., so set your DVRs accordingly. The segment is also sponsored by Dodge Durango who have a series of hilarious commercials starring Burgundy.
