Jerod Mayo is releasing his own mayonnaise line

While New England Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo is sitting on the injured reserve list, he is spending his time putting together a new product that will blow your mind. Apparently Mayo is getting in to the food business and he has decided to use his namesake as inspiration.

It doesn’t take much thinking to realize what product Mayo plans on promoting. Fox Boston passed along the news that Mayo is set to release his own mayonnaise line.

Simply brilliant.

Not only is it genius marketing from Mayo, but the three flavors — Kickin’ Buffalo, Bruisin’ Bacon and Crushin’ Chipotle — sound absolutely fantastic. I can’t wait to try it.
