Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee made his return to the field on Monday Night Football against the Chicago Bears, after missing the past few weeks with a nagging hamstring injury. Unfortunately for Lee, his return did not go as planned.

Not only did the Cowboys defense put up a pathetic performance in their loss to the Bears, but Lee suffered a neck injury that forced him out of the game early.

On Tuesday, Lee is set to undergo an MRI to determine the full extent of his latest injury.

From Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News:

Lee said after the game that he simply suffered a “stinger,” but the MRI will tell the full extent of his injury.

With the Cowboys now fighting for a playoff berth and a key match up against the Green Bay Packers in Week 15, the league’s worst defense will need to hope that their best player is able to go or they could be in for another putrid performance.
