After the Pittsburgh Steelers were defeated 22-20 by the Miami Dolphins Sunday, Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger told reporters to ask offensive coordinator Todd Haley about why his squad didn’t run the ball more.

On Tuesday, Roethlisberger tried to clarify his comments.

“It’s unbelievable,” Roethlisberger said during his weekly radio show on 93.7 The Fan via Scott Brown of ESPN.com. “It gets blown up and it’s by reporters that come in there and ask the dumbest questions after a game, and it makes it ridiculous when they only take part of your answer.

“It was taken way out of context. There is absolutely no issue between Coach Haley and I. I love where this offense is right now.”

The Steelers are in the middle of yet another disappointing season. The team is 5-8 and look like they will miss the playoffs for the second straight season.

The Steelers will get back to work on Sunday night when they host the first-place Cincinnati Bengals at 8:30 pm EST on NBC.
