The Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers will square off on Thursday night.

It’s an important game for both teams. The 11-2 Broncos want to stay one game ahead of the 10-3 New England Patriots in the AFC. The Patriots defeated the Broncos so in the event of a tie, the Patriots would claim home field advantage. The Chargers are one game out of the last AFC wild card spot, so a loss would almost certainly end their postseason hopes.

However, the Broncos don’t seem very excited about the matchup. Or at least not with the day.

“Terrible,” Broncos’ defensive tackle Terrance Knighton said when asked about playing a Thursday night game.

“Today, I haven’t recovered yet from playing Kansas City,” Knighton told Joan Niesen of The Denver Post. “It’s about the NFL, their logo, making money and what the fans want. You know, they don’t really care about us.”

Knighton went to say on Thursdays, he’s about  “75 percent, 80 percent.”

The Broncos and Chargers will kick-off at 8:25 pm EST and the game is on NFL Network.
