When Notre Dame joined the ACC in non-football sports, they had to work more ACC teams into their football schedule. They finally managed to lock down a schedule that works and have released their schedule for the next three seasons. The Irish are under contract to play five ACC opponents per season beginning in 2014.

Notre Dame is keeping their traditional rivalry games against Navy, Stanford and USC alive. They are dropping Michigan and Purdue after the 2014 season though.

In 2014 they play three games on neutral fields, at least one in 2015, and another two in the 2016 season.
