Tonight, the Philadelphia Eagles welcome in the Chicago Bears for this week’s edition of Sunday Night Football. Next week against the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles have an opportunity to win the NFC East with a win.

This evening, they have a chance to play spoiler to the Bears who are looking to clinch the NFC North with a victory, and so far, they’re off to a good start with that.

After stopping Chicago on their opening drive, the Eagles got the ball with some good field position after a bad punt by the Bears. On the sixth play of the drive, Nick Foles found wide receiver Riley Cooper for this five-yard touchdown strike to give the Eagles the early 7-0 lead:

That play right there made a lot of Green Bay Packers fans smile. A Bears loss tonight means that the Green Bay hopes for a playoff appearance are still alive, despite the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier this afternoon.

It should also be noted that, since this play, the Eagles have scored again and now lead 14-0.
