The Penn State Nittany Lions have to worry about whether or not head coach Bill O’Brien will be leaving for the NFL, which would mean they will need to find a new head coach. One of the potential candidates has been Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak, who has already been linked to the job.

Munchak says that he has not reached out to Penn State and that he currently has no interest in the job.

“I did not reach out to anybody, and nobody did on my behalf. And I don’t have an agent,” Munchak said Wednesday, via Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean.  “They have a coach there, and I have a job here.  So it’s just not true.

“I am fighting for this job, to make it work. I am not looking for another job, and no one is looking on my behalf. I don’t know where [the media] comes up with that kind of stuff.”

Of course, if Munchak is fired and O’Brien leaves for the NFL, then things could change.
