Earlier today, Finland announced the 25 players that will represent their country in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.

The squad is very NHL-heavy, including some absolute greats of the sport of hockey.

Detroit Red Wings forward Daniel Alfredsson leads the pack in what will be his fifth, and possibly final Winter Olympic Games. He has plenty of Olympic experience. He won the Gold Medal with Sweden at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Torino. He also scored 3 goals in 4 games with Sweden at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.

Alfredsson will have quite a few of his teammates with him as well. Talk about your recipe for team chemistry. I would definitely keep my eye on this Swedish team when the Olympic Games kick off.
