Chicago Bulls’ point guard Derrick Rose has been out of action with a torn meniscus since he was injured Nov. 22, but despite his injury the youngest MVP in NBA history is third in All-Star voting for the backcourt.

Rose trails Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade and Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving in the voting with the top two getting the starting nod.

Rose missed all of last season as he recovered from a torn ACL suffered in the playoffs the year before and is likely out for the rest of the 2013-2014 season.

Despite only playing in 10 games this season, the fans want to see Rose just like they want to see Kobe Bryant who is injured and among the top vote-getters for the Western Conference.

Rose averaged 15.9 points per game, 4.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game.
