The Denver Broncos will be hosting the New England Patriots in the 2014 AFC Championship Game, which will take place at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. The game will be taking place Sunday, Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. ET on CBS and the early betting line has been released.

For the first time since 2006, the Patriots will be an underdog in the postseason.

According to the fine folks in Las Vegas from Bovada.lv, the Broncos have opened as a 6.5-point favorite over the New England Patriots.

The over/under for the game has been set at 54.5 points.

When the Patriots and Broncos met this season in Foxboro, New England was able to come away with a 34-31 win in overtime. New England also won the meeting between the two teams in 2012, but this time could be different with the Broncos playing at a high level and the game being played in Denver at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
