The San Francisco 49ers have had plenty of success over the past two weeks, despite being on the road for their playoff games. As a result of their recent wins, the team has decided to keep their postseason travel routine the same for this weekend’s meeting with the division rival Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship.

According to Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com, the 49ers will fly into Seattle Friday afternoon.

The decision to fly in one day early will mean that the 49ers will land in Seattle one day before they would usually arrive for away games in their time zone.

49ers guard Mike Iupati shared his thoughts on the team’s recent road success.

“It’s been fun,” Iupati said. “We don’t mind the trips. We don’t mind the routine. Come home from a win on Sunday, leave for another one on Friday, and come home the following Sunday. Hopefully we can come home from Seattle with another one.”

Hey, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

We will see if sticking to their old routine will keep the team moving forward and earn them a shot in the biggest game of the year.
