The Buffalo Bills are beginning to build their offseason roster that will head in to OTAs and training camp, which means a number of players will be signing reserve/futures contracts where they will earn an opportunity to compete for a roster spot for next season.

On Thursday, the Bills announced that five players have been signed to the deals.

The most notable player signed by the Bills was former New York Giants wide receiver Ramses Barden, who was a third-round pick by the team.

Barden entered the league with plenty of hype from draftniks who were in love with his potential, but he has struggled to emerge as a go-to wide receiver. With the Bills, he will attempt to establish himself as a red zone threat.

The other players who received reserve/futures contracts from the team were  linebacker Willie Jefferson, free safety Jajuan Harley, wide receiver Chris Summers and linebacker Nathan Williams.
